What to visit ?

The Plan de la Tour offers a calm and tranquil atmosphere, with beautiful Provençal stone houses and a central square, ideal for walking, which hosts a local market every Thursday morning where you can find a variety of fresh and artisanal products.

Hiking enthusiasts can explore the area's picturesque trails, offering superb views of the surrounding countryside.

In Saint-Tropez, don't miss the famous Place des Lices, which houses a lively market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. The Saint-Tropez citadel, located on a nearby hill, also offers stunning views of the bay. Art lovers can visit the Annonciade Museum, which houses an impressive collection of modern art.

Bars and restaurants :

Le Plan de la Tour is known for its excellent Provençal restaurants, offering authentic cuisine from the region. Most restaurants are located in the city center and offer a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Local cuisine: Mauricette, a local canteen located in the heart of the village, offers you homemade dishes using fresh, seasonal products from the local region. Chef Jonathan Belamiri offers you world cuisine using modern techniques such as sous-vide and low temperature cooking, while adopting an eco-responsible approach. Mauricette favors slate dishes to be enjoyed on site or to take away. In addition to cooking, Mauricette's boutique offers tableware, decoration, groceries, embroidery and curiosities to allow you to discover new objects and products. On Sundays, don't miss the gourmet brunches to start your day off on the right foot.

In Saint-Tropez, you will find a wide variety of restaurants offering French and international cuisine. The city is also famous for its lively bars, offering a vibrant and eclectic nightlife.

Buddy hangout: TIGRR Saint-Tropez is a popular gathering place for village regulars. Located in the Ermitage, a century-old house with a view of the Tropezian savannah, it offers a restaurant, a cocktail bar, a club, a pétanque court and terraces with a view of the sunset. The atmosphere is rock, glam and relaxed, with vintage furniture and jungle motifs. It's a great place to dine, drink and relax with stunning views of the Saint-Tropez savannah. This restaurant is open every day and offers a first service from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and a second service from 6 p.m. to around midnight. Being very popular, booking in advance is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Vibrate on the Côte d'Azur: Casa Amor, the "Tulum of the Côte d'Azur", is back on Pampelonne beach for the summer season with festive and sunny days. Chef Akrame Benallal creates a Mediterranean menu with love, highlighting fish and meats grilled over a wood fire and hors d'oeuvres to share. The bohemian chic decor with your feet in the sand and the captivating musical programming of Casa Amor make this place a must in St Tropez. The restaurant is open from 12:00 until 20:00. As it is very popular, it is strongly recommended to book well in advance.

Night outings :

Le Plan de la Tour is a peaceful place, but you will still find a few local bars where you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in the evening.

In Saint-Tropez, the nightlife is vibrant, with many clubs and bars offering music and drinks until the early hours. Most establishments are located along the port and Place des Lices.

Eternal symbol of Tropézienne nights: Les Caves du Roy is a legendary night club located under the Byblos Hotel in Saint-Tropez. Opened in 1965, the club is known for its lively evenings, its cosmopolitan clientele and its sophisticated atmosphere. Prices are high but commensurate with the exclusive experience offered.

Activities :

The Marquets vineyards, located near the Plan de la Tour, offer a great opportunity to discover the wine-growing landscapes of the region by going for bike rides or on foot. You can also stop by the Plan de la Tour cooperative cellar located at 721 Route de Grimaud, RD 44, 83120 Le Plan-de-la-Tour to discover local wines. The store is open Monday to Saturday inclusive from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In addition to this, the area also offers outdoor activities such as horse riding, hiking and mountain biking.

In Saint-Tropez, you can enjoy a variety of water activities, such as jet-skiing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, etc. You can also rent a boat for a sea excursion around the bay of Saint-Tropez.

Getting around the Gulf of Saint-Tropez :

The most common means of transportation is by car, but there can be significant traffic jams during the summer season. You can also opt for a two-wheeler, such as a scooter or a bicycle, which will allow you to get around more easily and enjoy the magnificent views along the coast.

Public transportation is also available, with buses and shuttles running regularly between different Gulf cities. Taxis are also available but can be expensive.

Finally, if you want to enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea, you can also use the maritime shuttle services that connect the different cities of the Gulf.
